1. It started with a small wooden wedge and two rubber bands…

2. Then a machined aluminum wedge with curved and flat surfaces on two sides each, to accommodate round and flat chopsticks…

3.This was the quantum leap, inspired design to integrate the wedge and rubber bands into a single stamped metal component of spring steel.

4. This was the finishing touch, (to fit all sizes of chopsticks).
